Choose the right tool for the job.  Do you need powerful database and image-viewing applications that can handle tens of millions of pages of documents, or do you need a tool to help you organize testimony from a few dozen transcripts? Or both?

Anticipate your changing needs.  How many licenses will you need?  Are you courting clients that could bring huge new cases into the firm?
